In putting this site together, I feel like I've written down a lot of what I would tell the customers who sought me out at the shop. And I do miss the ones who would come in and share some strange result or unconventional idea that would turn out to work wonderfully. So feel free to write in with your discoveries, your curiosities, your rants, etc. The scrawlings of kindred spirits are always welcome.

However, the following types of emails will not be answered:

1. Beginner questions: "Help me make an aphrodesiac/where can I get an athame/how do I cast a spell for (fill in blank)," etc. These answers can easily be found through other means--try the alt.wicca, alt.witchcraft, or alt.pagan newsgroups, or hit my Links page for some search engines and link directories which I'm sure will give you access to lots of FAQ's and Magick 101 pages, or buy a book suggested on the Bibliography page--Jan Fries' Visual Magick, Scott Cunningham's Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner, Phil Hine's Condensed Chaos, and Donald Michael Kraig's Modern Magick are all good places to start.

2. "Tell me how to make this person fall in love with me!" NO. This is manipulative magick. If you want to do love spells, cast a general attraction spell(and do things to make yourself attractive in the meantime) and if it's meant to be, that person will come towards you. Don't force it. You also leave open the chance of meeting someone better :)

3. Long, complex scenarios involving possession, spirits, hexes, etc. Email is not the ideal mode of communication for problems like this--if this is the kind of deep shit you find yourself in, you really need to speak with someone face-to-face who can assess the situation. Your best bet is to go to your local botanica/magick shop for an in-person consultation.

4. Flamewars. Anything from "See the light of Jesus!" to "You're not doing REAL magick!" is a waste of time for both of us.

5. Personal questions about my practice, love life, etc. It's really none of your business.

And please be aware that I do not tolerate harassment, of ANY kind.

OK. Got something to say? Proceed.
